Vacancy for 2 Trustees with investment experience and third sector knowledge, 2 February 2022

We are looking to recruit 2 new Trustees to join the current Board of 6 members. In a voluntary capacity, the Trustees will attend all Board meetings either online or in person in Edinburgh (typically 4-5/yr) and serve for a 5-year term, renewable for 3 years.

This is an exciting opportunity for candidates to assist in the progression of the Trust and we are seeking particular skillsets that will complement the current Board. We would like to recruit:

• one candidate with investment experience; and
• one candidate with third sector knowledge/ experience.

Sound knowledge of charity governance would also be of benefit.

The Trust recognises the benefits of a diverse Board and therefore encourages applications from a range of backgrounds, particularly individuals who may have first-hand experience of one of the Trust’s funding policy areas. Previous Board experience is not essential.
