Notice of proposed reorganisation scheme, 16 December 2020

Miss Agnes H Hunter’s Trust – SC004843 (the Trust) has applied to the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) for approval of a reorganisation scheme for a variation of the constitution of the charity under section 42(3)(a) of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 (the 2005 Act).

The Trust currently has no power to make changes or to dissolve itself and the Trustees seek these powers with the intention of incorporating a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) to which the Trust’s entire assets, liabilities and operations would be transferred and the Trust subsequently wound up.

Details of the proposed reorganisation scheme may be obtained from OSCR’s website (www.oscr.org.uk) or by writing to OSCR at OSCR 2nd Floor, Quadrant House, 9 Riverside Drive, Dundee DD1 4NY.  Anyone who wishes to make representations to OSCR may do so in accordance with regulation 5 of the Charities Reorganisation (Scotland) Regulations 2007. All representations must reach OSCR not later than 29 January 2021.

The Trustees wish to reassure all existing grantees that their funding support will not be affected during this process, and all grant payments will continue as normal. There will be no changes to the bi-annual rounds of grant awards under the Main Grants Programme in 2021.
