The Trustees of the Agnes Hunter Trust SCIO have been reviewing the grant policy from 2019, and, following research and in-depth discussions, have decided to focus on one<\/strong> core area of funding.<\/p>\n In line with Miss Hunter\u2019s original aims, the Trust will offer grants to charities that support disabled people in Scotland<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Disabled people are those who have a physical or mental impairment that has a \u2018substantial\u2019 and \u2018long-term\u2019 negative effect on their ability to do normal daily activities (Equality Act 2010).<\/span><\/p>\n Service provision will focus on providing opportunities and enabling people to lead fulfilling lives.
