In a voluntary capacity, these Trustees will attend all Board meetings in Edinburgh (typically 4-5\/yr) and serve for a 5-year term, renewable for 3 years.<\/p>\n<p>This is an exciting opportunity for candidates to assist in the progression of the Trust and the grant award process, and the Board is keen to develop its diverse representation.<\/p>\n<p>In particular, the Trust is seeking candidates with experience in:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list\">\n<li>legal matters, preferably in charity law<\/li>\n<li>the voluntary sector, particularly those who have lived experience and\/or involvement in service delivery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Trust recognises the benefits of a diverse Board and therefore encourages applications from a range of backgrounds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For an application pack with more details about the role, please contact the Trust Manager, Mrs Sarah Wright, at<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:s.wright@agneshunter.org.uk\"><strong>s.wright@agneshunter.org.uk<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0or call 0131 538 5496.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The closing date for applications is\u00a0<u>midday Friday 8<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0March 2019<\/u>.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>**The deadline for these positions has now passed** The Agnes Hunter Trust is looking to recruit 2 new Trustees to join the current Board, replacing 2 retiring members.
